your email, until arca opens

this page covers the list on arcacloset.com: what we keep when you join, why, and how to leave. the arca app will have its own privacy policy before anyone uses it.

who we are

what we keep

• your email address
• your first name, country, whether you use an iphone and an invite code, if you give them
• the link you came from, such as a creator’s link
• when you joined, when you confirmed, and which version of this page you agreed to
• whether you hold a founding place or are on the waitlist
• whether the last email to you was sent, and if not, why

nothing else: no age, no phone number, and we don’t store your ip address.

why

you tick the box and join, then confirm with one tap in the email we send: that is your consent, and we record it when you confirm. we write to you about arca opening, and nothing else:

• the note to confirm it’s you; its link works for 7 days (sent again, at most once a day, if you join again before confirming)
• one reminder two days later, only if you haven’t confirmed
• a welcome note when you confirm
• if you hold a founding place, one note when the founding spots open, in february 2027
• one note the day arca opens on the app store

your country and whether you use an iphone tell us where to open first; the link you came from tells us which posts found you. we never sell or share the list, and there is no queue or counter.

who handles it for us

• Supabase keeps the list, in Singapore.
• Resend sends the emails, from the United States, and keeps a copy of each for 30 days.
• Vercel hosts this site.
• Porkbun hosts our mailbox, hello@arcacloset.com.

fonts and images come from this site itself, so nothing is fetched from anyone else as you read.

how long

until arca opens and six months after, or until you leave, whichever comes first. when you leave we clear everything except your address and the date you left, so that nobody can put you back on the list without your own confirmation; write to us and we’ll delete that too. if you join arca, your email moves under the app’s privacy policy.

your rights

you can see, correct or delete what we hold, or take back your consent, at any time. every email has a “leave the list” link that takes one tap, or write to hello@arcacloset.com. if you live in the Philippines you may also complain to the National Privacy Commission; in the United Kingdom, to the ICO.

cookies and tracking

none. this site sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and runs no analytics.
